Benki Piyako has dreamt about creating an organization dedicated to traditional indigenous practices since a very young age. The teachings passed on in the Ashaninka culture have a lifelong heritage and it is our duty to protect it. The creation of the Yorenka Tasorentsi Institute is a way of ensuring that these memories are passed on and inscribed.
The following center was built in the summer of 2019 to host visitors, indigenous and non-indigenous people willing to learn about man and nature.
The team and more worked day and night to make the center a reality.

All constructions are built using local wood. Reforestation being at the heart of our mission, we pledge to continue planting trees in order to replace what has been cut down.
