Benki Piyãko held a talk at the World Health Organization to share his view on traditional medicines of the forest. The session was organized by the Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative medicine Unit in Service Delivery and Safety, in collaboration with the Department of Gender Equity and Human Rights and gathered about 30 people in a conference room. The leader also met with the Deputy Secretary General, include name, to determine ways in which the organization can collaborate with the Yorenka Tasorentsi Institute to ensure the traditional knowledge of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon is valued, respected and protected.
